I'm happy! Today I had my first real long run. Last week I met a new running buddy, who is a major in sports and ran the "tough mudder" two weeks ago. We did 15,5km in 1:49h. I thought we'd take longer since there was quite an elevation of 100 meters within 2 km and we were chatting all the time while running.. It's good to have someone else that pushes you once in a while. It was exhausting, but I still felt much fitter than I was expecting. Next week we will try to do 18-19km in 2:15h. Lets see how that will work out.
Also it was good to see, that a sports major at uni, who really looks and is super fit (just that running isn't his favourite discipline), is slower than I am. One year ago I would have laughed out very loud if somebody would have told me that!
Also one more thing I have noticed: At my first 10k runs in april, I couldn't stand on my feet without pain once I was back at home. I had to lay down for the next 2 hours. Today after running 15,5k I was active all day. Not even feeling sore.
So my super-chocolate-craving-attack of a few days ago is all forgotten by now. I'm back on track. Hoping to take that photo of my scales when there finally will be a five as first digit!
