I absolutely understand - the one nice thing about Florida's weak winters, aside from not having to drive on ice, is that mushrooms seem to pop up year-round. The beige ones are bulbous honeys and are edible - I tried a few, honestly they just taste like "mushroom." I like to try edible ones to say I've tried them but I don't usually seek them out.

Beautiful!!!! My daughters science project in middle school was all about mushrooms. Believe it or not she won first place. It’s incredible how many different varieties you can find when you start looking. But to be honest with you, I’m chickenshit about foraging mushrooms, only because I don’t know what the hell I’m doing and I could kill myself.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🤣
