Last Tuesday the doc gave me a sample round of a new med called GLP1 which is supposed to help my body use its own insulin more efficiently and keep me feeling full, hence it will help me lose weight. It has really helped me control my appetite and I feel my blood sugar steady. Doc also officially diagnosed me as diabetic so hopefully insurance agrees to pay for this medication. I also have to start checking my blood sugar every morning. Feeling hopeful.
