Is Low-Carb Really King of Weight Loss? - My Fitness Pal
Seven hours of sleep, followed by 1 1/2 hours of drowsing while listening to podcasts.
Morning plank. Ten minutes on the Air Walk Trainer first thing in the morning to burn off glycogen.
Today is an up day on the Alternate-Day Diet (eat all I want).
Cardio: 1 1/2 hours on the Air Walk Trainer. Steps: 1,843 (Striiv Pedometer).
I had my first can of Wild Planet tiny shrimp the other day. I didn't find them as tasty as SeaPak's shrimp scampi. However, they have plenty of Omega-3s so I will probably wind up hiding/disguising them in a bean stew. Today was the first day of my switch from psyllium to flaxseed meal as a fiber supplement. One advantage of the flaxseed meal, aside from dumping the artificial sweetener, is that it contains both soluble and insoluble fiber as well as nutrients such as Omega-3s and lutein.
The Cuisinart Advantage 12-Piece Knife Set went back on sale on Amazon for $20 after I paid $27. Ouch. I was tempted by a Woot deal for food storage containers, but passed on it because I'm switching from plastic to glass. The Ninja Prep Pro from Woot was a good deal, but I've decided I prefer blenders and mixers with the motor in the base.
I'm thinking about dialing back the bargain hunting until I get things more organized and decluttered. It's a time and money suck. I wouldn't say what I've gotten is useless or constitutes fripperies, geegaws, etc. but I want to assimilate the purchases I've already made. I also want to cut back on my visits to Lifehacker. It's a useful site, but I've gotten to the point where, once again, I want to assimilate the knowledge I've already gained from the site.
