All this exercizing is going to kill me! My knees hurt, my back hurts, etc. etc. etc. This had better work!

Debbie, congratulations on getting moving. Some advice from an old duffer: increase your exercise gradually, get your heart rate up to 120 eventually, don't give up. Eleven years ago at age 50 I was a physical wreck. I started exercising regularly, getting my heart rate up to 120 or more for a half hour several times a week. Now at age 61 I have more energy than I had at age 40! So don't give up but don't get hurt. Work up gradually! The aches and pains will go away eventually and you'll feel amazing!

I am there with ya girl! Even my fingers and toes are sore! We can do this. We won't let the soreness beat us, right!

Debbie, I was quite a big guy and started Spinning (biking)and lost weight fast and strengthened my knees doing it . This helped me move into a variety of additional exercises like running. Start low impact, Spinning, eliptical and even swimming. Don't be embarrased, people will look at you and admire your progress!!! Start:285 As low as:199 Current:216 3 knee surgeries from years of obesity...Training for a half Iron man
