Started Weight Watchers about 9 weeks ago. I love the new plan with free fruit and new points. It is easy to follow and I found a leader I like. I have lost 13.5lbs via their scale. According to my records pre Weight Watcher weight, I have lost about 18lbs and still going! I got off track about 3 weeks due to me being sick then my mom being in the hosptial with pneumonia. But I think the program has changed my eating HABITS so I was able to basically maintain those weeks. And I have been getting lots of exercise in. But the most exciting news is I was 200.2 on the scale this morning. I am 0.2lbs away from ONEDER LAND!!! I haven't been there for years. But the great thing is I can get there and stay there. WW is empowering me. I am on-plan and not discouraged!! and this is after 9 weeks!! I can't wait to see how far I can go.

WW is challenging their members to walk a 5k and you get a little keychain charm if you do. There is a walking program but hubby and I walk a lot anyway, so he challenged me to run/walk the 5K. So we are doing a run/walk program. Never thought I would say that. But I'm trying. It is going ok, but 200 lbs is a lot of weight to run with. I told him I would give the whole program my best shot. And so far I have followed it 100%, but it is only week 2 and next is a 5 min jog interval and I'm not sure I can do that.

Other exciting news...my pants are loose!! Happy and sad day, because I like this outfit I am wearing a lot. But I can always buy new clothes. Before WW I had to unbutton the bottom button on this shirt because it was too tight but now I can button it all the way and it is even loose!! Very exciting stuff. My pants are loose too. It makes me feel fantastic about myself which hasn't happened in a long long time. Not to mention I bought a different conditioner on accident, but my hair has been looking/feeling fantastic, helping to boost my self confidence.

Even more exciting news...Vacation to an all-inclusive hotel in cancun is in two weeks from this Saturday. Cant wait!!! To cope with all the dangers and temptations of vacation I have already made 4 goals to try to reach.
Daily goals include:
1. No calorie containing beverages before evening time
--made this because hubby and I have a tendency to get a margarita or other cal rich drink by the pool midday and then we feel sick from the sweetness and the heat. Also packs on pounds. Diet cokes and water will work out just fine for midday and then hubby and I can have a few drinks with dinner and evening show and not feel guilty!

2. Get some form of activity in every day
--can include walking, but I will try to do my run/walk program on vacation. They have some great walking paths around the hotel!

3. Only one dessert per day
--This can be at any meal but that way I can indulge but not go overboard and gain 5lbs when I get back (like I have done before, yikes).

4. Finally Eat a sensible breakfast everyday
--Breakfast isn't my favorite meal. I would rather splurge on lunch and dinner. So if Im good for breakfast I won't carry guilt around all day. Besides they wont have my favorite--Biscuits and gravy so why bother.

I made a 4x6 card with checkboxes for each goal each day and I have challenged myself to see how many I can check off. I wanted to make goals with would make a difference but not totally restrict my vacation. I think these goals are very doable. I don't think I will be perfect but if I can get 90% or so then that is a success. Anything is better than an all out splurge. After I made these goals for myself, hubby said he would do it with me!! So I made him a checklist too.

Wish me luck.
