I fell into my normal habits of bad behavior on the weekend, but I did keep everything in check and stayed very active and managed a loss instead of a gain. Food choices weren’t very good, but the exercise definitely seemed to balance it out.
Ended up going on my planned hike with the boyfriend and dog, it was such a beautiful weekend for it! The weather was gorgeous and I love the combo of green, orange, and red in the tress right now. It was nice to get out and get some fresh air and exercise. It wasn’t a strenuous walk, but walked 5 miles at a decent pace, but the goal wasn’t to work up a sweat, it was to enjoy ourselves. My boyfriend was thrilled that I was the one that suggested it, he’s normally the one pushing me to do more active things like that.
The rest of the weekend was busy too, spent a lot of time cleaning and organizing the house. Things have gotten out of hand lately as far as putting things off, and with the holidays coming up I knew that things had to get back to order. Made a pile of stuff to donate that we just don’t need or want anymore and it’s nice to have gotten rid of some clutter. Feels good to have had a productive weekend.
