My sister's wedding is in 2 weeks and I set a goal last year to lose 40 pounds prior to her wedding. I met my goal today(I had started my weightloss prior to joining fatsecret). It's really unbelievable that I was able to do this relatively easily. I eat everyday and I never short myself on calories. I know that I can never stick to a diet that requires a very low caloric intake.
The best part of all is that I did this with my 16 year old daughter. She has been so supportive and encouraging. Today I went to get my bridesmaid dress altered because it was too big. I wanted to cry out of shear joy. I started my weightloss journey at 276 pounds and now today I weighed in at 236 (with clothes). Here's to the next 40 pounds.......
