I give up. I have tried everything that my body and health will let me. I am only gaining instead of losing. this is my last entry. I'm sorry. I hope everyone keeps on being successful.

Casey, Think of your diet as a pie. 33% of you calories come from protein, 33% of you calories come from carbs and 33% of you calories come from fat. Now remember 1 gram of fat = 9 calories and 1 gram of protein or carbs = 4, Do not exceed 100 grams of carbs. Start you day with 100 % natural psyllium husks, like Metamucil. It is high in fiber and will boost your metabolism. Write down everything in a food diary drink 80+ ml of water.

Don't give up! My suggestion is to go to a dietician if you are able. I went to your profile and it sounds like you have health issues. Talk to your doctor. I think if you get on a good eating plan you will begin to see a weight loss.

I’m sorry you are quitting. If you have not considered it yet, I might suggest you seek professional help from a dietician and maybe a counselor of some sort. Best of luck to you.

I have to agree with others. Please ask your primary care physician for a referral to a dietician. You are dealing with several physical issues that are quite probably contributing your weight gain. It becomes a vicious circle affecting not only your physical health but also your mental health as well. You are not failing! You just need someone who understands your whole health picture to guide you. Prayers for you to find your Healthy Path!

See a doctor. See a nutritionist. Unexplained weight gain can be a lot of things some of which can be VERY serious. Doctor!!

Don't give up! Find a nutritionist, and if your doctor agrees, find a gym and start exercising more. Don't think about the past, but think that, starting tomorrow, you can start changing your life and get back to health. I too have tried a thousand diets and have tried for years to lose weight. But I am happy that I did not give up after each failure because each time I have learned something and now I am finally healthy. So don't give up! Keep trying!💪

Don’t give up! It could be various different reasons why your weight is going up. (Water weight, medication, calorie intake and more.) 1) start calorie counting 2) if possible, walk at least 10,000 steps a day (this is just a start)

Please keep trying! Get a scale, weigh every morning. Weigh your food to make sure your not misjudging your portions. Try cutting carbs for a while. I feel your pain, I know it’s tough, but if you give up, it will only get worse, and you will have to dig yourself out of a deeper hole. Keep going!!!

Don’t give up! Find a professional who can help you figure out why you are gaining. I am an emotional eater and got a therapist who I see virtually every week. I am also a binge eater so I have to work through all of my mental health issues to get through. Nothing is bad to eat. It really is about portion size. Maybe take a small break from thinking about food before you get help. I know how overwhelming the thoughts could be.

Not sure why I haven’t seen your posts before. Please reconsider staying as others have suggested. Even if you don’t post publicly at least use the app to keep track of what you are eating. A dietician can help you come up with a calorie goal and meal plan that is appropriate for your medical situation. Please be kind to yourself and give it another try. Tomorrow’s a new day.
