Just returned from a week on the beach and I am determined NOT to be over 200lbs next year! How awful to be ashamed of my thighs, to see my college friends look GREAT in their bikinis and know I am so fat because I just am not caring for myself. Time to fix it! I went to the gym yesterday - 30min on elliptical (300cal) and did circuit training. Read an article that lifting weights is better for weight loss than cardio bc the added muscle revs up your metabolism 24hrs a day. I also started a low carb diet yesterday (and lost 3.5lbs in one day!) OK, probably a lot of fluids from travel or something - but hey, I'll take it!
