Today we buried my step-son's grandmother. She was 89 and lucid almost until the day she pass away. She was a very gentle matriarch from the mid west who settled down in South San Francisco in 1951. She raised two sons and two daughters, several grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She had a life well lived and a job well done, living like a gentle breath of fresh air.
