sheesh, feel better! burns are no fun 😬 

My wife gave me some "burn relief hydrogel pads" to put on it, (that's what's under the bandages in the picture) and they seem to have already made a big difference. Some of the blistering that had begun seems to have reversed, and a lot of the pain has subsided. Still gonna lose the skin on my knuckle though; good news is that the knuckle never really hurt, probably just because the boiling honey immediately killed the nerve endings there.  

Great news!! But.. what about the dessert? 🍯😋

Apparently cold water worsens burns! Should’ve put it under lukewarm or just cool water. Cold water damages the tissue a lot, that’s why Wishing you a good recovery !

So I was making bread 🍞. (Whole wheat and cinnamon raisin.) The last of the honey had crystallized so I melted it in the microwave. The first 30 seconds wasn't enough so I put it in for another and I meant to keep an eye on it to keep it from getting too hot but forgot about it. I took it out and spilled it on myself.  

Jesus John I just laughed out loud but I feel so bad for you!! 😭😭Just do the thing my mom did and stick the container in a warm water bath next time! 😂😂

I second what JC said 😅 hot water bath will do the trick! 

Yeah I was impatient. Hot water bath is what I would do any other time. Gotta learn to be patient.
