True indeed, my binge eating was a result of going mo this without eating my favorite foods, the day my will fails me then I won't eat just a cookie or two. I eat the whole box and more!

this is true even though I'm doing low carb I still sneak.in some lays or chocolate jus to satisfy the craving

I think I'm the only person on the planet that eating in moderation DOESN'T work for 🤦🏻♀️ I am doing so much better completely restricting foods that trigger me (which is most unhealthy things). I figured out that my trigger is taste. So if I don't taste the food I don't have cravings and I haven't had any food anxiety. it's such a win for me after 14 plus years of struggling with the compulsive overeating and food anxiety

@Daniela... You're not alone. I also have to resort to restrictive eating. I honestly envy people who can eat intuitively or in moderation. I just can't do it, I have to avoid any and all trigger foods because my fast metabolism and insatiable appetite doesn't allow me to have "just a little bit". It's really a case of all or nothing.

most sustainable knowing on days I want a choccie or something savoury I can eat it within my calorie goals without feeling deprived which is not everyday

Thanks everyone, I love reading your different experiences. It helps someone who is in a dark places thinking "Oh I'm just not able to lose weight". I hope they read our different approaches and see that it's not that they're unable, it's just that they haven't found thr right way that works for them!
