Measurements: Chest 42.5 (-.5) Arms 14 (-2)
Waist 40.5 (-.5) Thighs 27 (-2)
Hips 51 (No change)

Well, since I weighted myself early I decided to check my measurements. It feels good to see more signs of positive change. That's a big difference in the arms and thighs it makes me wonder if I messed up those measurements some how. I find the no change in the hips hard to believe too, since there was change everywhere else and my clothes are fitting better. But as long as I see positive change I'm not going to get hung up on the specifics. Also, my eating better is infecting my kids. I have to get more "diet" food because they have been helping me eat it. Can't complain about kids eating more healthy now can we.

just back to FS been gone for over a month ,, started at 244 got to 209 then holidays gained 6 lbs then stressed started and the lbs piled up to 224 any ways one of the things I love to do is watch YOUTUB videos on people losing weight and low cab cooking and biggest losers shows it gears my head in the right direction my story is a lot like yours i'm 63 years old march 21 and I was close to being a diabetic about 3 years ago ,, I move more these days and eat better although I have a long way to go I dont believe in beating myself up or anyone else for that matter ,, any who sweet dreams <3 keep on keeping on <3

What is DIET food? I really don't know. As far as an overweight child , shouldn't it be less sugar foods more fruit and veggies. And more exercise like playing and bike riding just fun stuff that requires more movement .

Char60, that is why it was in quotes. This is a life style change but I'm not going to try to force the whole family onto. No one could force me till I was ready is how I look at. As the my child, yes we encourage less sugar and try to get her moving more. That is why her weight leveled off instead of continueing to climb the way it had been. Unfortunately, we are a split family and they don't spend all of their time with me. He biggest weight gain over the summer took place while she was at her father's. I only wish I had more control over how they are treated when they are there, unfortunately I just get to clean up the mess after it is over.
