Chloe2837's Logboek, 15 okt 22

What do I do? My parents make me dinner and I tell them I can make it myself, they refuse. The problem with them making my dinner is that they give me a massive portion, way too big for my age. I have told them before to make me a smaller portion but they just keep forgetting.

have u got a 🐕? might seem a silly question but maybe u could put a little on his plate b4 u start? then u won't be tempted to eat it all, remember there r things dog's can't tolerate tho such as onions and garlic xx

Addison I have a cat but she is really old and has a special diet. No dog though.

Half it and put the other half in the fridge say ull have it for lunch/tea tomorrow, when they see u do it regular they may remember u only want a small portion, I'm like ur parents though and make big plates it's not always by choice as iv done too much I'm not the best at guessing portions, good luck xx

Shame, maybe if the portion is so large u could split it into 2 or make 1 a smaller portion for say a lunchtime? Freeze half to have another day? Failing that chuck it in the bin, then ur parents might get where ur coming from xx

Lol Chief, a major issue is my age. 1 - I can’t drive yet I’m too young and 2 - I live with my parents cause I am too young.

Get them to use a smaller plate for you. Can’t put as much on it.

I'd ask for a smaller plate. I have used a bowl for 3 years at home.

I use to have the same issue, my solution was eating small portion and keeping the other portion for another time until my patent were convinced that I would only eat a small portion 😁

I had the opposite problem at home. We didn't get enough! You are young and your body needs nourishment to grow and develop. Your parents want you to thrive so it's their natural instincts to feed and fuel you. Have a chat with them. Discuss nutrition and calories and hopefully you can reach a compromise.

Hi Chloe, your current weight is 97Ib's and goal weight is 90Ib's, that would be you on target to be the ideal weight of a female under 5 foot tall. I dont know your height, but your parents may be protecting you from under eating. I deleted my last response as I felt it may be inappropriate to potentially be guiding a young person into under eating. As I said, I dont know your height and you may well be 4' 10" or something.
