Decided to do a long fast and just woke up at 5:30am and feel great. 34 hours and 45 minutes so far.
Its been a long while since I've done anything longer than 20 hours. Normally only do about 13-18 but not all days. Planning on keeping it going a little longer before bringing back the food. Will start with a protein shake or a yogurt so not to shock my gut.

Ive been doing this for about 5 years now. I just feel awesome when I do it. Gives my body and gut a break. I typically do 16-18 but also listen to my body and brain cues. If I just feel like eating then I do. I try not to make it a "religion". I will also take electrolytes if I do longer fasts and I have to work out, which can break a fast but I'd rather not pass out and it anyting it's only about 50 cals.
