Last night's dinner was ah-maz-ing! One of my friends had posted a picture of bacon wrapped asparagus and it was just enough to get my appetite back in gear from the depression I'd been dealing with. Funny how mood can affect one's appetite. Anyhow, this is roughly what it looks like. Except we had 4-6 spears wrapped in 2 pieces of bacon per set. I had two sets of spears with two slices of yellow squash for dinner. I'm so glad I have a husband who likes to cook!

I would post a pic of my husbands dish but it would e a pic of peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
He does get an A for his effort because there are many times I have come home from work and he has made an attempt to make dinner, not much taste to it but its the thought that counts lol

Looks delicious. For Easter, my daughter (who aspires to be a masterchef junior! :) ), insisted my son make something for dinner. We happened to have some proscuitto and asparagus spears. The bacon looks like it would have been much easier to work with as that very thin prosciutto was hard to roll. Yummy, though. :)

I love bacon... and I love prosciutto.... and I need to love to the idea of exercising and get up from my family room sofa and go exercise on the equipment that's looking like it needs someone to use it lol instead of hanging out on FS with all of the wonderful people.. which can be addicting lol... what better way to spend a stormy night... than reading great ideas... and sharing one anothers stories.. and we even have great pictures to view....so much fun lol:)

Oh Heavens no! I've been married to a chef before - that was NO FUN!!! I just have a guy who likes to cook. :)
There is nothing wrong with PB&J. :) Tonight I get to have elk sausage (from a friend) and eggs or hash-browns or both.
I can't imagine trying to wrap prosciutto around anything.

No sweetie there isn't but your picture looks pretty fantastic, sounds yummy Im not sure if Ive had elk sausage I will try anything once lol but I know when I visited The Rocky Mountains National Park, we had stayed in Estes Park, there were tons of elk just walking around. Just like here we have tons of deer with an attitude who walk in the road all the time and if you come up on them with you car they look at you like a gangsta ...Whattt?:)

Oh!!! My sister stayed at Estes Park once. She loved it, and yeah - the Elk! WOW!!! That's funny about the deer. I haven't had elk sausage yet, but the steak was sooo yummy.
