I had what I consider a major victory last night. Had a game night at our house with family. We decided to do tacos because they're easy and I could do taco salad to stick with my low carb eating. Of course everyone felt the need to bring a ton of sweets. These types of situations usually go the same for me....start out strong vowing not to give in....then oh one cookie won't hurt...then oh one piece of cheesecake won't hurt either. You see where I'm going right? I did sooo good! Ate my taco salad and had strawberries for something sweet. At the end of the night I didn't let anyone leave any of the bad stuff with us. Made them take it all! Not a major victory for some but for me it was huge. I weigh in tomorrow so I really hope my extreme effort (helloooo...saying no to cheesecake is extreme effort) will pay off.
