All is right with the world again. My son came home. He called and agreed to go through with the Marchman proceedings, and SWEARS that he "only smoked some weed". God only knows. BUT, let me tell you how goo MY god is!!!!!! When he called, I wasn't home, which resulted in a good "man to man" between my husband and him, and it was my husband who was like "okay, where are you? we'll be there in 20-25 minutes". That spoke volumes, especially since I know that he was having a hard time dealing with the fact that I'd quit my job to finish my Bachelor's and prepare for Law School. I think that as a 15 year old, he blamed my husband for us not being able to afford the things that he was accustomed to (I know that I'd spoiled him, but I searched my own soul and was internally admonished to see this situation from a 15 year old's eyes, and what I saw was not pretty). At any rate, he came home on Saturday, and my husband and I went on Sunday to look for 3 bedroom units, and found a complex that make me feel like we're "movin' on up" like the Jeffersons! LOL. Not only that, the office was open on Sunday, and when we did the paperwork, we got approved to move in this FRIDAY with free August rent. This comes on the heels of WWIII with my current landlord about the stuff they DON'T fix here. To make matters worse, my son told me yesterday that one of the boys in the complex told him that THE MAINTENANCE MAN (you know, the guy with the KEYS!) is a registered sex offender!!! I went online to check, and not only him, but two other guys in the next building are as well. That just gives me more ammo for my "certified letter". LOL. At any rate, I know that All Things Work Together....and this past weekend really did a number to strengthen my faith. Yuo, God really does know what he's doing.
