AJLea's Logboek, 12 mei 15

I tend to do much better when I eat basically the same thing every day. I don't get tired of it at all. I usually mix up the meat portion of my meals, but generally I eat the same damned thing all the time. Is that weird? Do you all prefer to eat the same things or mix it up?

LOL - I do the same thing! I picked food I really like and I do not tire of them. My husband thinks i am weird!

I love to cook and would tire of cooking the same thing every night. Tonight I am making the Curry Pork Recipe in the App, along with a Quinoa/Couscous Blend, and fresh sliced tomatoes. My family hardly ever gets the same thing twice. Having said that, whatever works for you.....stick with it!

I can eat the exact same daily menu for 5-6 days in a row...and NOT get tired of it....I usually vary a little more than that...but I don't HAVE TO...Welcome to FS...AJ

I go through stretches of both. I'll stay on the same meals for a while, then go a week without eating the same things again.

my husband is gone during the week so when cooking just for me I can eat the same thing day after day after day. He thinks I'm crazy!

I do the same thing. My lunch diary looks the same every day unless I run out of something. Dinner is chicken 5 days a week and alternate the veg and what kind of potato. It's worked for 97 pounds.

I eat virtually the same thing, same portions, every day. For me it helps set a base line and then I can adjust from there. I've recently changed up my breakfast meat from 2 chicken sausages for 4 slices of bacon and saved calories to boot. Dinner is 99% of the time a romaine salad, chicken and the same dressing. Both meals end up staying just around 500cal each. I've been filling in the end of the day with a protein shake, but it's costing me 6 net carbs, and I've had to pause and ask myself if I'm really hungry or if this is something that I'm doing because it's been something that I've just been doing, ie. habit. My menu planning has been successful so far, and I'm not put off by it; that being the case, I'm going to stick with this for a long time, probably the rest of my life. tl;dr - Yes, same thing everyday.
