Im in Austin Texas and we are about to get hit again with rain, again. Hurricane off the coast is going to effect us. SO with that said Imma try and get a walk in at the apt gym before we get swamped. Its already lightning so we may not get a chance but, Im def going to try. If not, Im just grateful we stocked up last night at the store bc last night we got him we were with out power for 14 hours. We got plenty of salad stuff and water so Ill be ok wink wink.. at least ill get outta working. Cheers every one..

Ya , its official, im not leaving my house today BUT there are so many great at home work outs and stretching we can do tonite.. gonna leave well enough alone and concentrate on diet and safety LOL

Bill is a tropical storm, which is actually worse for us. I've seen plenty of both. Hurricanes move pretty fast, but the TS will take days, perhaps a week to pass out of Texas!

Ya, I saw its a tropical storm not a hurricane.. its been raining so much that the ground is saturated and we are at a huge risk for more flooding. // On a side note, i ate 3 grapes, two pieces of cantaloupe and a bite of banana.. Its been 6 months since i had any real fruit other than berries and cantaloupe once or twice and it was the best darn banana i had ever .. and it was for no reason , other than i wanted it LOL

Wow,didn't know you were so close ,Redgirl1974,we are in Victoria and getting light rain for a few hours now .
I have been watching the weather channel,and it has slowed down but calm before the storm,lol..the trees limbs are
moving up,down and steady most of the day..it just stopped raining. Really praying for a peaceful night since the morning
didn't happen the way the forecasters were talking/ thinking it would come in early.i have my three grandkids and the two
6&7 yr olds are on edge all day,watching cartoons now but they are nervous of storms ..Good Luck !!

Girlkay, same here.. its been drizzling all day but they say its gonna hit hard at midnight or so.. got the plants down, everythings locked up, dinner is done and lots of water in pitchers. The memorial day flood did hit our neighborhood but we we effected by the 1st flood in april. Hopefully its nothing but rain all though the news is making it sound worse.. rented a movie and gonna button down the hatches as they say. !

All who are affected by the tropical storms be safe! I lived in Galveston when IKE hit...notice I said "lived." We lost everything and are now living in West Texas where there will never be a hurricane. Love the coastal living but as everyone along the coasts know....the storms are something else.
