Well my morning started off with finding out we had a visitor on our property last night. Guess the bears are coming out of hibernation and are hungry. This guy, it seems, made it's way around our area to several bird feeders. Thankfully, he left our ducks and chickens alone. I got my exercise in by walking to neighbouring properties to let them know about our visitor, and to warn them about letting their animals out late at night... not to mention walkers and those with kids. Not sure if it's a full kilometer of walking, but I'm counting it as my exercise for today, lol. Happy Sunday, FS family!

We're way out in the country, mostly farm lands out here. This guy was around at 2am, but sometimes, when the dog's gotta go, the dog's gotta go. But luckily we have a massive backyard spot light.

Wowza!! Not what I would want to see in my back yard!! I have seen a cougar close to the house once several years ago. Sure wasn't too happy about that either! Stay safe!

Having farm animals is a risk we take with wildlife predators. We've been lucky so far, with only having two incidents, one with a fox, another with a racoon. We've had lynx, coyote, and cougars before as well, with no incidents. This was our first bear, caught on camera. Our neighbours saw one in their yard last summer, so it's not uncommon. Thanks for the concerns, we're safe. Enjoying the farming/country life. ❤️❤️❤️

WE had three Coydogs in our back yard. They were part of a much bigger group wandering through the farm land surrounding us. We had wild turkeys roosting in our evergreen trees. Gota love the country.

Yep! They’re definitely out of hibernation! I had one at my place on Saturday, rummaging through our dump trailer. They can be so naughty! 😈🧸
