Making myself some new clothes today. My clothes from last fall look awful. It will be nice to have a couple new skirts and some pants that fit properly.

Ack Its easy peasy and the only way I can afford custom clothes for my messed up body frame. Thanks though. I don't think how much weight I have lost has sunk in until I started trying on last years cold weather clothes. Hopefully next year I will be at goal weight and have to sew a ton lol!

Congrats! Also that's amazing. I cannot sew a straight line to save my life. Well I could.. maybe.. but then the string gets all screwed up and before long the sewing machine is back upstairs collecting dust. I should probably try being more domestic... Can you make me clothes too!??! lol

I considered making my clothes and wondered about the cost of fabric/material vs just buying at 2nd hand shops. But you're right in that you can customize everything to fit your body.

I love to sew but my sewing machine ins MIA atm not that I have time. But I do need it so I can make the valences for the kitchen. Good for you that you need new clothes!

Great way to spend the day. I whipped up a maxi skirt with a yoga waistband for myself and wore it out for my birthday dinner last week. Even though it was only two seams, people seemed so very impressed! :) Good luck with the sewing endeavors. :)
