Your comments/input are welcome! Seriously, my joints and bones need to last 6-7 hours for endurance activities for me to enjoy any day. Thanks and I will be eternally grateful 🥰

Love my magnesium blend. I take it to improve sleep, leg cramps and brain healing. The brain part is magnesium threonate for my TBI.

I take magnesium at night to help calm the body and improve sleep. Too much magnesium can send you to the bathroom. But, I didn't know that magnesium could help my athletic performance. I'll investigate.

Thanks Erika, I need to check that one. No wonder I feel like my brain is not at its fullest potential 👍

Morticia, Currently I take magnesium oxide only to help digestion but I need something else to supplement my micro tears healing 💪🏽

Thanks Penberg, We look forward to your findings - not necessarily improve performance but helps ease the joint pains & recovery.

I kept hearing magnesium was good to help sleep. I just saw on Pinterest a couple of days ago there were multiple forms of magnesium that aided in a variety of ways.

A 1 oz portion of cashews has 20% RDA (natural) magnesium and tastes better than a vitamin pill. 😋

And 1 cup of pumpkin seeds/pepitas has only 285 calories but 42% magnesium. Plus lots of other micronutrients, protein and fiber. Also very portable for snacking on your bike rides.🚵🏻

There are 400 body functions that require magnesium, and many types of Mg. The blend I take is by BioOptimizer. Expensive, but it helps me sleep and that's worth it.

I’m taking Magnesium L-Threonate on mornings ( for better brain function, neurological health, mental focus) - Life Extension brand name Neuro Mag 2) and Magnesium Glycinate before bedtime for relaxation , better sleep and prevent muscle cramps.
Brand name : Klean Athlete . They both have less of laxative effect than other forms of magnesium e.g. citrate etc. as well as much better absorption.

Cashews have a very poor fat to protein ratio. Pumpkin seeks have a much better fat to protein ratio and a higher magnesium content. Pumpkin seeds are less tasty, but they have my interest.

Sometimes the laxative effect is just the thing that's needed! Some folks take it just for that. There's also a spray on version that is great for cramping - instant charley horse relief.

I’m taking magnesium l threonate. It definitely keeps me awake and more rested but I haven’t tested it with all the endurance activities you have in mind 🤣
