It is a great place to start . . . and even finish. Nothing wrong with making walking your primary form of exercise as long as you eventually/gradually 'mix things up' in terms of effort -- pace, distance, terrain (hills), etc. It's weight-bearing, it's FREE, it's always available and no gym membership commitment required!

I agree yellow(did you know that is my favorite color in the whole wide world?)! Walking is one of two main exercises that I use to lose my weight. I also do calastenics i.e. crunches, pushups, squats to firm up the parts that are getting slimmer! I also use a fullbody stretch that has 16 30 second stretches that really help lower the pains and aches of doing 100 calastenics of any kind! :-D

Yeah I know yesterday I did not move enough. And I feel it. Was stiff all night. Was a trying day.
