Fuegobonito's Logboek, 10 sep 15

So I've been watching this show... Extreme Weight Loss with Chris and Heidi Powell. Some of the people on that show are absolutely amazing. These people are losing nearly 50% of their original body weight in 1 year. To me that's kind of crazy. Obviously it's doable... very hard... but doable. For me, I don't think it would be possible for me to dedicate 4 hours a day to cardio 6 days a week and eating around 1500 calories everyday. I feel like I would implode on myself from pure exhaustion. I know that I went well over my calories yesterday. I really need my fiance to stop bringing home so much food for dinner. I understand that he wants to make sure that we have food for other meals, but if it is here, chances are I will eat it. So hopefully I can get him to stop doing that for me. Also I'm still adjusting to a meatless diet. I am almost full on vegetarian these days. I think I've only eaten meat 2 or 3 times this past month. So that is new too. My plan is to try to eat more beans and legumes for more protein in my diet, try to cook with less fat and cook more often, and exercise at lease 10 minutes everyday. I am going to try to stick to 1 hour of cardio 4 days a week, an every other day sort of thing, and do some type of strength training on the days in between. That's gonna be the hardest part. Getting up and moving doesn't seem to be too much of an issue, but trying to do squats and pushups and crunches is much harder. We'll see how it goes. I really want to stay motivated this time. Wish me luck :)

I love this show. It has motivated me to stay on track. It also let's me know that my goal is achievable. So let's get it in!
