I would appreciate some guidance on macros.
What is the percentage balance of macros for optimal fat loss?
What's the recommended level of fiber, protein- both in percentages and in volume?
I'm on a 1400 calorie intake plan, eating clean, avoiding sugar and processed foods, not drinking, doing moderate daily exercise ( 30 min walking each day) trying to restrict bread/pasta/potatoes/rice to one serving per day

Macros often depends upon the type of nutrition plan you are adhering to each day. I do a ketogenic approach so my percentages are very high fat, moderate protein and low carb. Not sure what your approach may be. I have seen that usually something like 40% protein, 30% carb and 30% fat can work - but everyone has a different opinion. Good luck.

Yeah I agree with the previous poster. It honestly depends on what works for you. I mean, vegans eat high carbs for example, but people follow a keto diet tend to eat about 5-10% carbs, 15-20% protein and the rest in fats. Some think 40/30/30 works best, others prefer 50/25/25. I mean, in reality there's no set way that's the right way for everyone. As long as you are eating clean and avoiding junk for the most part, the rest will fall into place. Maybe once you hit a plateau you can worry about macros to push through it.
