WOW! Has anyone out there tried kelp noodles? I made a stir fry and added them too it. They have no flavor themselves after rinsing/soaking in hot water etc.... makes me wonder if I should not have done it for more than a few hours. The gastrointestinal reaction to all the fiber... *groans* any advice?

I haven't tried them as I have read so many "horror" stories about the taste and prep time. I am thinking of the shiratake noodles, is that kelp? Some people swear by them but.....

When adding fiber into your diet it should be done slowly. Adding too much too fast can lead to digestive issues.

Try rubbing peppermint oil on your stomach. That helps. Plus a brisk walk.

i think it was the form of the fiber that is at issue. i take fiber supplement regularly. I find some fiber does not agree with me. Perhaps that was the case with this too. I was hoping maybe others knew of methods of preparation that might aide in easier digestion of said fiber.?

Soak them over night then boil them, ignore the packet instructions they are lies!!
