On Saturday I really thought Winter was here at last. It was freezing cold for 2 days, bright blue sky and sunshine. But did it last? No!!! :( Sunday morning was wet, grey and wet again. Never the less, I put my long running gear on, put the harness on my little dog and of we went. And once I got going, I warmed up and didn't mind the rain anymore. I got slightly lost in the woods and in the end I turned back and still managed to take a wrong turn. So 1 1/2 hours later we were back, soaking wet and muddy. Hosed my little dog off with ice-cold water, rubbed her down and placed her in front of the woodburner before I headed off into a warm shower. I have no idea how far we went as I forgot to switch my gps tracker on. But I estimate about 13km. I was in dire need of a hot herbal tea and some peanut butter afterwards ;)
Last night I cooked two mac and cheese. One vegan and one with butter, milk and cheese. I can honestly say that my man was in heaven :) and I could consume mine without being worried it might contain dairy :)
Work is rather slow in the moment as the bosses have just realised that the work we are doing hasn't been signed for. Meaning nobody has agreed to pay for it yet. LOL. Everything had to stop immediately. Guess I will get to read a few more journals today.
