The rabbit is likely heavier than the martin, but pound for pound, the martin is one of the toughest animals in the world. Part of the weasel family. I actually live trapped one in my woodshed about 8 years ago. I was happy to be wearing gloves when I raised the gate to release him back into the wilds. This video is safe to watch if you want a 'cute nature' video. It has a happy ending. Uncle Martin - safe for all to watchHe tore my glove the first time I tried to release him. I appreciate nature and all, but have such a hard time watching the truth of it all. I'll pass on watching and choose to imagine that they all live happily ever after (LOL).
