Went out to lunch yesterday on a food reviewing gig, so we were overwhelmed with food from the chefs and have tons of leftovers. Believe it or not, I nibbled the 4 dishes that we got and was hungry again in time for dinner. But this is lunch today! Sunset Salad, which the sous-chef introduced for a special promotion and kept on the menu. It had 5 perfectly cooked and Old Bayed shrimp, goat cheese, candied pecans, fruit (but not too fruity; perfectly balanced out by the goat cheese and citrus-cumin vinaigrette), and the restaurant's famous house-made pumpkin bread with sweet butter.
