It's a sprouted grain bread. I find it in the frozen section in the grocery store. It tastes better toasted...there are lots of sprouted grain options!

Sprouted grain bread is the best kind for you...it is nutrionally dense.

It is pricey but if u love bread it's worth the change especially if u need to stay away from the yeast.

If you can't have yeast, you will probably not be able to have even Ezekiel bread. Yeast is what is used to give bread its texture. Read the labels.

I grew up eating this bread. The taste is a bit to get used to, but it is so filling! I LOVE it and have been looking for it again. Great with eggs.

@EvaMalice, first I really applaud you for taking control of your diet to manage your health. Good show on you!! I looked up Ezekiel bread and it seems it DOES have yeast in it. It's a healther bread - but may not accomplish what you need to do. Here's a thought - how about searching Yeast Free Bread recipes and find a few that look interesting. I'll bet there's an adult in your life that would love to experiment baking with you! Baking is really a lot of fun and a good lesson in the way various ingredients interact with each other. My vote is to be creative with your own talents first.

Another thought - if you're looking for something for sandwiches, using tortillas as wraps might work for you. Lots of tasty versions available and you can even use it as a base for pizza-ish topings! Tortillas are fun to make too ;-)

Ezekial bread is very good but I stopped eating it because it has too many carbs for me and some ingredients that trigger my wheat/gluten thing
