Due to the super encouragement of everyone who responds to my buddy requests, but especially saswank80, I finally feel I am getting it. By that I mean taking care of me in all aspects of my life, no matter what they are. I am being faithful in writing everything down as well as learning the triggers that cause me to want to eat. I am educating myself by reading more things online that are helpful like organic eating, etc. We have lots of markets that cater to that need so I will visit them more often! I also need to remember that while my Mom can drive me crazy sometimes, she is very supportive and will make sure that we purchase the items that I want to make things easier for me. She still is a dessert fiend (and has been petite all of her life!). So, I am blessed and will do what is best for me, not punish myself when I falter and be proud of my accomplishments.
