Up to 400 calories in the A.M. I can run for 2 minutes without stopping. .which is huge for me. Giving quitting smoking another try. It's been one week since I bought any. Prayers are appreciated.

Good work on the smoking, keep it up!! I quit 2-1/2 years ago and won't say it's easy, but it can be done! One day at a time!!!!!

Julesy have you tried to get a vape? i quit January 4th and started using a vape. I dont know if it will work for you but i went from 18mg of nicotine down to 6mg. And hopefully in the next month or so i will go from 6 to 0 and give up the vape as well. It wouldnt hurt anything.

Julesy it's been a week! You're not giving it a 'try', you are doing it! YAY!!!! I smoked for 40 years...I didn't think it possible to quit, but I did and have been a former smoker for 14 years! You can do this...you can do anything for one day! I started and kept my quit at www.quitnet.com in case you need some support from those dealing with the same challenges. Including you in my prayers.

I quit exactly a year ago. And If I CAN do it I KNOW you can. I smoked for 21 years. almost 2 packs a day at the end. Then my left lung started sticking to the back of my ribs. So, I said FUCK IT!!! and quit. Never looked back. My lung still sticks to my ribs sometimes. But 20 years of damage is going to take a while to heal.

Quitting smoking is the best thing you can do for yourself. I wish you luck. It's terribly hard but NEVER give up trying!!!

Took me 9 attempts to quit. Been probably 20+ years and I could still enjoy a Marlboro Red with my coffee this morning. It's a bad monkey. Keep at it.

Dear Julesy! not smoking is the most important thing you can do for yourself ! I managed it with will power, tricks and determination I helped my self by cutting plastic straws into cigarette sized sticks and chewin on these all day. I also loaded up on Bubble Gum - Bazooka ) and kept my mouth and my hands busy all day. I also had to take a break from my pals who still smoked. BUt,! all my friends who still smoked started quitting too! Like good health is catching! Nothing more significant than the idea to refuse to be the architect of your own demise. Do this, and you will start to feel good about yourself and then all else will follow more easily. I just found it too hard to look in the mirror when I smoked and wen I quit, all things flowed in the direction of health and wellness. You are determined to run, so run yourself towards the love of your own life that can drive you to a state of happiness.
