Okay so I’m thinking I’d like to add a signature line to my posts that sort of sums up the philosophy I’m striving to live by. Problem is that philosophy isn’t really well defined yet. So I thought I’d use today’s journal to brainstorm and collect some thoughts about that.
Basic concepts:
Take action – This is really just my nature I prefer to be working toward something
Take risks – This is not at all my nature, but I’ve been trying to do it because I’ve been learning slowly that the rewards greatly outweigh the risks and lead to real growth
Engage others – totally against my nature and way outside my comfort zone (I’m a computer geek for crying out loud!) but having relationships with interesting and fun-loving people is definitely worth the discomfort and nervousness! So, I’m going for it - Wish me luck!
Love life – I truly love my life and feel very blessed. I never want to lose that feeling.
Hmmm….That doesn’t really seem to cover it, but I’m out of time for today (must get to work). I’ll be back at it tomorrow.
