jessberry's Logboek, 02 mei 16

So last night I walked 5.4 miles, which is the longest distance I've walked in ages... Today, my poor legs are KILLING ME, lol! I took ibuprofen and magnesium last night, and slept pretty well, but I can hardly walk today. Maybe I need to soak in Epsom salts for a while... Other than that, I feel great. Glad to be back on track.

I'm participating in a LCHF challenge that starts soon, hoping it will track my progress this time. I had difficulty with my postings in my last 2 challenges. Every time I'd weigh in, it would give me an error and not post my progress. So frustrating, especially when I take the time to answer the mini challenge questions in detail, only to find out it didn't go through. Hoping FS will work properly this time.

You might get one of those old fashion ice bags at the drug store, and give it a try. It really does help. Good luck, and congrats on the effort.

Fabulous accomplishment. I'm still working with one mile, but strive for 4 or 5. I envy your stride. 😜 👊

Yes sleeping muscles do. I walked a 5K (like I had trained) and climbing those hills made my thigh hurt so badly I can hardly walk. I should keep it up.

Sleeping muscles... Ain't that the truth! I feel like I've awakened a monster... Well, a sore, achey monster! I probably wouldn't have walked that far if it weren't for my friends, but I'm glad I did it. Sometimes you don't know what you're capable of until you have someone pushing you (in a good way🙂)
