madanjen's Logboek, 16 mei 16

I Dropped a little over 2 pounds this last week; so that is cool.

But working out with weights last night, I tweeked my back. I knew something went wrong and this morning, I couldn't walk upright. Even after some advil I am basically sitting on my butt because of the pain.

Let's see how this week goes for me.

This happened to me in March. First I went to see my DO (doctor of osteopathy.) I have a bad back anyway, so that is why I have one. Basically, give it some rest and in a day or two start some GENTLE back stretches. If it hurts, STOP! Take care of yourself and know that you will go back to working out again when you are better. When I went back, my trainer worked with me on easing back into my routine without annoying my back. I hope you feel better soon

Hope your back issue isn't serious Madenjen....take it easy and for sure get it checked out if you don't start seeing improvement...I ruptured a disk in my lower back in February...very scary but not the worst thing that could have happened, take care!!
