Lol. Love the trailing question mark. I know it means anonymous, but sometimes I see those affirmations as having a question mark at the end of them. I think it might be better to say "I will strive to be the best version of myself today." That would make it active rather than static.

When I got to work this morning my boss was back. I wasn't expecting her till Monday. I told that I knew she already aware of what happened the other day. I told her exactly what happened. She responded by saying: "I have had a policy for 20 yrs that no employee without rabies shots are to touch the feral cats till told otherwise. She told me that I have seniority, I can take days off any time and she said I can change my hours in the middle of June." I said good, I don't like office gossip. So when the employees that started that crap came in I was pleasant and smiled and acted like nothing happened. To surprise them even more, I spoke kindly to each one before I walked out the door. Yes I do bellcurvz. I have even made my worst enemies be at peace with me. They now light up when they see me. I know there is a verse in the bible that speaks of this. I can't change the world, only myself
