I saw a graphic a couple of weeks ago, comparing the size of a pound of fat to a pound of muscle. The fat is 3 times the size of muscle! So, while the scale is dropping slowly, I've noticed BIG changes in my body. I wish I had thought to take measurements when I started this in April, but finally did 2 weeks ago.
Yesterday, I woke up noticing that my belly 'overhang' looked and felt smaller, so I re-measured. I couldn't believe it! 2 inches gone on both waist and hip measurements!
Other "little" changes: there is room under my skin on arms and legs; inner thighs are less packed; I saw my shin bones today for the first time in 20+ years (!!!!); side boobs are half of what they were 2 months ago.
It's almost like I wake up in a different body every day :) The tale of the tape will be my cheerleader now.
