I find it extremely disturbing that FS employs the same tactics as Facebook did. The last several days I have been searching for lingerie online, and when I'm on the main page, there is an ad to my right for the same website I was searching yesterday, with the same lingerie. I don't like sites compling my information in this way. I find this an intrusive and an invasion of privacy. Am I supposed to delete cookies every hour on the hour in order not to be tracked by advertisers? Maybe I should only look up illegal things so I can't be marketed to. GRR. HATE HATE HATE advertising tactics that are not upfront and honest.

Yeah, but we can't see what you see...I get my own ads for the lingerie I looked up! - Whatever... I am just glad FS is free. I passed over alot of 'fee based' sites before I ever found this one! And I am so glad I found this one, that I just put up with the stupid tracking ads. It's the way of the internet I suppose!

Thanks JS for the perspective :) I was able to click on both ads and opt-out, but I'm not sure who is responsible, but I still find it disturbing to be tracked.

I agree with jessmarie, the adds are Google based...Same thing is happening to me and it will happen in any site--not just FS
