Today may be challenging. I've been asked to spend 3 hours sitting on the patios of two of Vancouver's nicest restaurants and eat appetizers and drink wine while a photographer takes publicity shots. Tough job, I know! A girlfriend knows the promotions manager and so we're basically doing this for fun (and good wine!) I'll really try to just sample a few of the lighter things on the menu and keep busy chatting. I went for that long hike yesterday and it was beautiful. I recommend that type of exercise to everyone who can get out in the fresh air.

Amen to that about the fresh air exercise!! I live in the Smoky Mountains and there is nothing like a good, long hike or bike ride on a clear summer day. Invigorating, exhilerating, inspiring, relaxing...... there really are no words. You don't even feel like you're working out. It's definitely the time of year NOT to be in the gym. :-)
