Thurs Dec 8th- My foot really hurt on Thursday, but I had to make it to the gym. I was really concerned about how effective it would be. So tired of this left foot! So I did some reading, and plantar fasciitis seems to be the culprit( yeah, I know, I didn't go to the doc..but I am a biologist for heaven sakes). Most sites suggested stretching the bottom of the foot (which I already do because I have had much milder versions of this in the past)...and some funky looking sleeping shoes (next to last resort before surgery which probably doesn't work anyway). So I tried the advil way out...and boy did it work! I think I might do that before every workout...I ran for 10 min at a top speed for me ( a measily 4.3 miles/hr, but I am only 5 foot and I have terribly short legs) I also did a killer workout including the dreaded jumps (bladder is not the same after kids). It was so hard I was nausious afterward and had to force myself to eat a small amount of carbs and the manditory protein allotment. And I drank like 2 bottles of water. So in the end it really paid off with a 2 lb. drop today..and I don't think it was dehydration. Yeah Advil!
