hey....just wondering how you gain buddies? I'm new to this and I was hoping the group thing would be a good motivator?

Ok just figured it out. Click on the little icon next to member name to see their journey summary and option to send buddy request comes up at bottom of screen.

Hi, buddies are a great way to interact with people on the site and gain support. Not all groups are active so bear that in mind when you join. Challenges are a great way to get support in what you're doing - they tend to focus on a particular thing and have like-minded people join in. Chatting is the way forward ... Oh, and being absolutely honest with your recording, not guessing the weight of what you're eating but weighing it. You'll soon get the hang if you stick at it. Best of luck, both of you!

Hi there. How are you getting on? I am logging EVERYTHING I eat and finding it helpful. Today I pigged out as a day off and out of routine surrounded by temptation. I did make a mess of today BUT I have learned that every action has a consequence and today's is that tomorrow I will have to cut back big time to write off today's damage.

I even logged my Tuesday afternoon crumpet binge which was embarrassing but I think it will mean I won't do it again - public humiliation! If you are honest about logging everything it will show you where you are going astray - I found some things I was eating were much higher calories than I thought and some fewer - education is a good way forward. Also the support you will receive on the site is a great boost. Welcome, and good luck!
