Two weeks have flown by since my Mother-in-law came out of hospital and Lulu went down to Kent to look after her while she convalesced. Today her sister took over and I collected Lulu. Now she’s back in the nest I can get on with other things like putting up the Xmas decorations. Oh my I’m really looking forward to pulling it all out of the loft and putting it up where Lulu Boss lady directs. It’s the Xmas cheer, (Whiskey) that keeps me going just like a Duracell bunny. Seriously though it’s all good fun putting up the decorations to the sounds of Xmas classics, in a couple of days the house will look like Santa’s grotto at least for the next month. Thanks goodness I don’t have to dress up as one of Santa’s helpers.

I decorated my tree to Christmas songs too. It's the only decoration I'm putting up this year though!

We were going to get our tree yesterday but the place we get it was so mobbed we've decid d to go on Thursday evening ... unless I go during the day tomorrow when I'm WFH. I'm not religious, I hate the commercialism of Xmas (it's all "gimme, gimme, gimme") but I love a bit of tinsel and evergreen along with some rich eating.

Me too, Phooka. I'm a proper kid when it comes to Christmas decorations. Not sure what we'll do. So many trees outside but no kids visiting this year to decorate one. Probably put up some lights and bits and bobs indoors.

I love the picture too! We have a tree up, and some other bits and pieces. I go for the 'cheap and tacky' look at Christmas 😉
