Today, I'm trying to cut out all artificial sweetener, as I've been abusing it lately. I fear that it is having a detrimental effect on my weight loss.
97,4 kg Tot nu toe verloren: 9,2 kg.    Nog te gaan: 36,2 kg.    Dieet gevolgd: Redelijk Goed.

Not sure how much you have been using, but on Atkins you are supposed to limit it to 3 per day. Some people are more sensitive to it than others. Also, some people have issues with one type and not another.

Thanks for stopping by! I've been going hog wild with it - more than 3 a day and I've discovered that I am sensitive to some of the artificial sugars - I can feel a sugar spike with some of them (Russel Stover's does it every time).

There is some discussion that some people do metabolize sugar-alcohols. Best to stay away from them if you are concerned. I start craving if I eat them too often.
