Foggy Friday!!! Walked 3.3 miles in the warm-ish, but damp fog....about mid-50's in temps, so no shorts today.
The fog has hung around and can still be found in some spots, even though it's nearly 2PM. I had hoped to clear the last of the leaves from the backyard today, in advance of a rain system coming through by the end of the weekend, but the fog and dampness has hung around too long to give the leaves a chance to dry out a bit. Maybe by tomorrow....
Took my 1 doggy into the vet's for just a bordatella vaccine...the other doggy goes in for a yearly check-up next week. I've taken them both in together before, but it can be a bit chaotic, to say the least. So, I just split the visits this time around. Luckily, my vet has open hours around lunchtime for basic things like bordatella, nail clips, ear cleanings, etc. where it gets done by a tech and you pay no office visit charge. There was no waiting at all today, so it was just a nice quick visit. Gotta cut back a bit on the new food for this doggy, as his weight is up higher than I'd like to see on him....even with our 3-mile walks! I may have to add some green beans.
Otherwise, more mundane household stuff to work on today. I'm trying to do 1 dreaded item each day....you know, the things you just keep procrastinating on. Today was the bordatella for the dog and car registration.
