a new year, a new start...again. won't be following exactly south beach. will be using a combination of recipes from south beach, hungry girl and some other healthy cookbooks.
my bro in law has lost so much weight in the last six months by eating less at meals, eating less sweets (which was difficult over the holidays), eating more fruits and veggies and running/exercising nearly every day.
my niece has also lost tons of weight by monitoring her food intake.
i will try to throw some exercise, or at least some walking, into the mix. that will help to keep off whatever i lose, i'm sure.
