Ugh - up almost two pounds this morning. Wish I had only done ONE thing different yesterday - then I would know what it was that upped my weight. Instead, there are at least three: I had a very samll handful of macadamia nuts - carb count 1.4 (net), so I really didn't think it would hurt. #2 - I had a serving of Atkins peanut butter cups. Still within my carb count (20.7 for the day, I think. And 3#- I ate more calories yesterday than I have since I've been on the diet. I know Atkins isn't quite so much about calories, but it still didn't feel right. Obviously SOMETHING wasn't! I also drank a TON yesterday, and I definately haven't gotten rid of that, so who knows. I'll get back to strict induction - around 1500 cal's, and no products, I guess, and next time - one change at a time!!!!

You can do it! I am trying to see the first couple of months as a learning experience. Learning what works, what doesn't, and what works against me. I discovered (I think) my downfall is overindulgence with sugar alcohols. I went from using them as an aid to using them as a crutch. NOT a good thing if I want to reach my goals. Hang in there! We can do this!

I think tht was my problem too yesterday. I kinda wonder if the nuts triggered cravings, b/c I noticed that during the evening, I just wanted to eat, eat, eat. Then I went for the peanut butter cups, b/c I figured it was better than joining my hubby in crunching away on chips and salsa - ugh! It's OK - back to it today, and you're so right - every single day is a learning experience!!
