I tired fasting, but my pain meds really affected my empty stomach

so I'm going to try to keep my meals in a shorter window during the day and have 16hr overnight fasts

I read the obesity code by dr fung and it just seems to make so much sense to me

ive also really fought fatigue since returning to work.. I used to think it was just because I worked 7 days (before I got sick last year)
but now I'm doing 4 short days and still exhausted.. my activity diary on work days doesn't even show much housework! I now realise the fatigue is part of my chronic health condition, so going to try to get some physical activity in over the long weekend while I'm not working

have a good day fs friends

Methinks Rhonda0 is an agent for Thrive!

That's sort of what I thought Doobrie. How anyone can tell us how wonderful a diet is when they've just started on it is beyond me

If she does work for Thrive, she'll learn fast that we don't abide TROLLS here.

Poppycom-Additional supplements my neuro adds as recommendations for chronic migraine, she's a headache specialist. CoQ-10, 600mg/day, Magnesium CITRATE 400mg/day, B2 (Riboflavin) 400mg/day and no NSAID by Naproxen Sodium as all others, caffeine, niccotiene and all opioids if used more than 8 days per month are known to cause rebound headaches which are known to be as bad as migraines. There are lists of known triggers out on migraine.com the site I posted earlier in this thread. Do not mistake the trigger with the cause. Migraines are a central nervous system disorder, you are a migraneur, ie. a person who gets them; a trigger is an environmental factor that will help to initiate an attack, very similar to a light, sound or drug interaction that can trigger an epileptic seizure. There are even such things as painless migraines and stomach migraines that only affect the areas of the nervous system connected to the stomach, so it's not just the head. Most migraine meds just treat the one 'symptom' currently, but not all. There is also a National Headache Society website.

Thanks smprowett. I see my neurologist on 4th may so I'll ask home about supplements then. I do agree about triggers and am working with pain clinic/neurological/gp on my meds. I have looked at migraine website, but not for a long time, so ill go for some revision. Unfortunately, migraines are also related to by EDS, which is a connective tissue disorder. I generally have injections into my occipital nerve every. 6 months to try to limit them, so they're a lot less debilitating then they were

RhondaO thanks fir the advice. Shakes don't work for me. I have T2 diabetes. I need a long term solution for my weight and health, which is requiring a complete permanent lifestyle change. Different things work fir different people. But on fs I receive and give support to others and find this really helps me, as we all want to make progress and be healthier. Have a good day fs friends 😁

That's right! I remember reading you had EDS as well! That's got to be a bear of an addition! I have a few other complicating family genetic diseases as well! Makes life more of a challenge! LOL I have two friends in the "big blue room" that I'm keeping up with on FB that are being screened for EDS right now. One they are pretty positive, the other its a possibility. Is there maybe anything in Miranda Esmonde-White's stuff that could help? Either in "Forever Painless" or "Aging Backwards?" I don't know that much about EDS, but what I do know, sounds painful.😥 But what I've been reading in these books is seeming to dovetail with the initial nutrition research I've been doing lately and isn't arguing with any of the migraine and other related health research I've done on MY health issues. LOL but that's on my personal laundry list, not anyone else's. Take care, Hon.
