Steady weight over the past couple of days. In the big picture, I know this is good news. But, I get impatient with my weight loss progress. I know I've made a lot of progress, and the chart is very encouraging, but I still look in the mirror and am very unhappy with the shape of my pudgy body. Not sure what to do about that, guess I just need to cut myself some slack and be patient.
My exercise is still going well, I find that my body is really used to the particular programs I use most often on the eliptical trainer, so I mixed it up yesterday and did a different program and I am so sore! It's good, though. This weekend I was stretching and doing some exercises outside on the back porch during the kids' naptime and felt like I was being watched. Then I noticed my 5 year old peeking out the window at me and mimicking my motions. I laughed and told her I was making my legs stronger. "Good job, Mommy!" she said. There's some motivation. :)
